TASK 2: Classroom rules




Discuss classroom rules with your MENTOR. Identify any other rules which need to be made explicit. Frame all rules using positive language. Identify how these rules are being reinforced during the school day and note opportunities to teach these rules.  Construct your own means of recording this. e.g. Table 3 below.

  1. Don’t run in the classroom
Walk carefully in the classroom
  • put their hand up if they need go to the bathroom
  • be quite
  • use card if they want to go out side
  1. don't speak when your  friend answer
listen to your friend when he speak
  • use the wow board to keep the student quite
  • ask the student it is good when we speak in the circle
  • look to their friend and see if he answer right
  1. don't fight your friend
keep your hand for your self
  • use sticker to keep them quite
  • use the lone chair if they don't listen to the teacher
  • give gifts for who follow the rules.



Discuss visual means of representing these rules with your mentor to be developed and introduced to the children over the next three weeks for example.
